I have recovered from my bike accident and am excited that this will be my 6th year participating in the Tour de Cure supporting BC Cancer research. This is a cycling event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Cancer research, treatment, and prevention. For those that know me I am a passionate cyclist and an advocate for mental health, physical fitness, and my commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
Cancer is a disease that affects millions of people worldwide, places significant challenges for the loved ones caring for those afflicted with Cancer and strains the medical system. That is why events like the Vancouver Tour de Cure are crucial in funding research for better treatment and ultimately finding a cure.
