In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a 200km cycling challenge to Hope. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure fundraising to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
My father-in-law had been benefited from BC Cancer's timely treatment six years ago. After two rounds of chemo therapy, one stem cell transplant, and countless sleepless nights, he was finally able to declare victory in the fight against cancer.
Nowadays, his two and half year-old granddaughter is keeping him busy playing. We are grateful of every moment.
I wish to share my story and help raise funds to help power life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
