This August I will be embarking again on a two day, 200 km cycling challenge. I have committed to participate for a second year in the Tour de Cure to help BC Cancer Foundation in their ongoing work to reduce the burden of cancer for everyone.

Tour de Cure is one of the main fundraising initiatives for the BC Cancer Foundation, which funds vital cancer research in the pursuit of life-saving and life-sustaining treatments for this complex and debilitating disease. The Tour de Cure fuels innovation in cancer research, clinical trials and supportive care initiatives.

Over the course of my 20 years as a Registered Nurse in oncology I continue to see the impact of these initiatives in my daily practice. Funds that I raise through the Tour de Cure will support research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, to benefit people living with cancer in British Columbia and make an impact around the world.
