I need your help again so I can secure my place on this years Tour De Cure.

You may not not know this but I dedicate my fight of Cancer to my old friend and mentor Jamie Shaw.

Jamie passed from colon cancer a few years ago. I was already riding for the Ride to Conquer then but Cancer hadnt touched my life yet.

Jamie helped me with some of my lifes biggest obstacles.

He used to listen to me everyday and I him.

Whenever I was really suffering with things hed ask; Hows that gratitude list coming?

To which Id reply, f**k off Jamie and just tell me what to do!.

After hed been gone for a few days I tried to call him out of habit and realized I didnt have him anymore.

It was then that I knew I needed to make my daily gratitude post.

Please help me fund the research that will help stop the unnecessary loss of anyone we love again by donating to my ride or join me in the fight and come ride.

In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.

It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.

Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
