Hello to all my friends, family, colleagues and those I haven't met yet!
In 2017, I was in a bad motorcycle accident that left me unable to run at that time. Running was a passion and my therapy. I was introduced to the Ride To Conquer Cancer by a good friend who I excitedly watch come through the Day 1 finish line. I immediately signed up for the 10th anniversary ride and shortly after set my sights on training but most important - Fundraising! I have been a bronze ambassador, a platinum ambassador and now support team members through my own Team, The Remissionaries!
We have all been affected by Cancer in some way or another. This year I am riding for one of my good friends Stephanie who has been through almost 50 rounds of Chemo!! I am supported by some amazing folks at Be Free Bookeeping, Light Force Industrial Graving, my friends and more, but I still need more help to make my goal!
Today I ask you to Please support me for my 6th year in the Tour de Cure!
In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
