Here we are again, all ready to begin my next fundraising campaign to raise valuable funds for BC Cancer through the Tour de Cure 2024. The funds raised are used immediately to help provide funding for priceless research and treatment for Cancer patients just like me and many others that have to deal with this disease.

BC Cancer has had many breakthroughs in finding cures for certain types of Cancer. My hope is that a cure is found for my type of cancer, because right now there is no cure, but the treatments I have received so far have kept my tumours in check. I am one of the lucky ones who has responded well to both radiation and chemotherapy treatments, some patients are not so lucky.

With your help and support I hope to raise as much as I can to help find a cure. I will be riding 200km over two days along with many other riders. The ride is long and hard but nothing compares to how hard the fight is for people suffering with cancer.

My first ride was in 2020 after I had recovered from surgery to remove a large tumour in my left hip. In 2021 I received news that my cancer had metastasized to my left arm, my right femur, my skull both inside and out as well as my right lung. To date you have helped me raise over $42,000 and for that I am truly grateful, unfortunately this disease doesnt stop and neither will I. There are too many people suffering with this disease, please help me to put a stop to it.
