Hi Friends & Family - Please consider supporting me in the Tour de Cure!
I am surprisingly late in getting this request out for support this year - totally out of character for me!
This year there are several individuals, both family members and friends, that have "good news stories" related to cancer treatment. A part of this success has been due, in part, to the innovation and advances in immunotherapy led by the BC Cancer Foundation in Vancouver that has provided global benefits. This is one of many reasons I am riding the 200km from Cloverdale to hope on Aug 24-25th.
The Ride de Cure (aka Ride to Conquer Cancer) is a cycling challenge that I have embraced as my main fundraising activity over the past 10 years - it is tremendously worthy cause.
I have committed to the Silver Bullets team and ride to raise funds in the 200km Tour de Cure to help BC Cancer Foundation to conduct innovative research and break down cancer.
I am proud to be riding with the Silver Bullets, the team name of the Patron Sponsor - Wheaton Precious Metals.
Last year it was hot and smokey with a 160km ride the first day, however, I deeply appreciate it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
Please consider supporting me by making a gift today - your donation will help me achieve my fundraising goal AND motivate me in this challenge!
Thank you so much for your support!
Michael
