Dear Family and Friends,
Ive signed up for the 2024 Tour de Cure, B.C.'s biggest cycling fundraiser, to help break down cancer by powering world-leading research in B.C. through BC Cancer Foundation.
This is my 12th year fundraising and what keeps me coming back are two things 1. too many people I know and love are dealing with this terrible disease, sometimes lifechanging 2. I BELIEVE. And I have HOPE. I believe the collective in this event have and can make a real difference to the cancer diagnosis and treatment process, thereby helping thousands with their quality of life. HOPE in OUR ability to give others hope that their lives will be disrupted as little as possible, that we can institute measures identifying Cancer early therefore mitigating its affect.
1 in 2 British Columbians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This event is a tangible way to support friends and family who have been affected or who may be affected in the future and will make an impact on cancer care right here at home.
