Please support me in the Tour de Cure!
In August of 2024 I will be embarking on my second Tour de Cure cycling challenge.
It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer. I have now been working at BC Cancer-Prince George for three years and continue to feel more motivated every day to fight against cancer.
I have the honour to work with an amazing team and support patients and familys through their cancer journey. I have witnessed the horrors of cancer, but I have also seen the amazing outcomes. Through increasing research, trials, new treatment options, and extra supports available to patients the cancer journey can be much more personalized and supported. Fundraising is what makes all this possible. First hand, I have witnessed the benefits of the fundraising done in this ride and want to do my part!
I ride for not only the loved ones that I have lost to cancer, but for all of the patients and supporters who are living with this battle.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
