I'M TAKING ON THE TOUR DE CURE

This August I will be taking part in the Tour de Cure - an initiative to help the BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
While I'm looking forward to the cycling challenge, I also recognize the importance of this type of event to raise important funds to support health related research. We've all been touched by cancer - my family is no exception - and I want to make sure I'm doing what I can to continue to support groundbreaking research in this area. Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
I've set a couple of personal goals - both physical and fundraising - for this event, which I'd love your support with. I recognize that not everyone has the ability to contribute monetarily, but even your moral support means a lot to me!
My goals for this event on August 24-25th, 2024:
1. Biking Goal: Ride the in-person challenge route (260km) from Cloverdale Fairgrounds to Hope
2. Fundraising Goal: $2500 prior to event day
If you're able to support my fundraising goal then great! Feel free to donate directly on this page.
Finally, as an added incentive (and to show my undying gratitude for your donation) - for those who donate more that $50 to my fundraising efforts - I would be happy to provide you with a baked good of your choice. Choices of baked goods could include: cinnamon buns, cookies, bars, or any other baking you're interested in. For those in Burns Lake, I'm happy to deliver anytime. For those in Prince George or Vancouver (and anywhere along the highway in between) - I'd be happy to organize some delivery options for when I'm in your area. If you're not interested in any baking yourself, you can also let me know if you'd like it donated to a cause of your choice.
Thank you so much for your support! Shoot me a message if you have any questions, want to go for a ride, or just want to say hi. And a HUGE thank you to my friends, family, colleagues and supporters who have backed me in this challenge over the past few years. As always, you are all awesome!
