This is my fifth year riding my bike for the important fundraising event of Tour de Cure.

While cancer treatment for me has fortunately resulted in a couple of all clear test results, (Yahoo!) that is certainly not the case for everyone. So many of us must deal with the scary stuff this dreaded disease brings. It broke my heart to hear that another member of my family is currently being treated for cancer. This years ride has taken on another level of personal meaning.

Advancements in research and treatment are being made all the time, but we all know it doesnt come cheaply. Please join me in helping to raise funds for The BC Cancer Foundation so that this vital work can continue.

I am looking forward to many training rides as I prepare for this years 2 day, 200km bike ride. As in past years, I know I will think of the many kind words of encouragement given by my generous supporters. Your inspiring messages and support will again help me up the steep hills and motivate me to keep on riding.
