Dear friends!

On August 24th and 25th I'll be taking part ( yes actually riding! ) in the 2 day, 260km Tour de Cure cycling challenge. ( The Tour de Cure is presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.)

I'm doing this in support of someone very special to me: Mia van der Kop. Mia was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016. She's battled hard since then beating the odds, keeping her tumor at bay, living a large life, championing for a new brain cancer treatment option in Canada ( Read more: https://chng.it/T5QK9xrRRX ), finishing her PhD ... and in general just kicking butt!

Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
