Please support me in the Tour de Cure!

I did it.. I signed up for a 200km bike ride! Ahh!!

If youre able to donate so I can join the ride at the end of August, just know that it will be appreciated as I'm cursing the uphill road before me on a sweltering summer day!

I'll never forget the crystal-clear, sunny, late summer day when Mason's oncologist called and said the words, "You have no detectable cancer in your scans. Your lymph nodes look great for anyone, let alone a cancer patient." That was truly one of the best days of my life; and I wish that kind of phone call for every family going through cancer treatment.

When I heard about the Tour De Cure, I knew instantly I wanted to do it. I am so thankful for all of the research that has led to life saving treatments for my bestfriend, and dad to three girls, Mason.

We all know that a 200km bike ride and overnight camping is the last thing I would undertake, but really, this is nothing compared to what people go though daily with fighting cancer.

The ride ends in Hope, which is a very special place for me. My grandparents lived here and I would visit every summer and every holiday. Unfortunately, my grandma lost her battle to lung cancer in the Hope hospital in 2008. I would do anything to have her waiting for me at the end, as I'm sure we all would do anything to see someone again, that we have loved and lost to cancer.

Thank you for your support, from the bottom of my heart!
