Please support me in the Tour de Cure!
In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a 2-day 200km cycling challenge. This year I am riding for my Grandma Liz. She was one of the most loving, caring, strong, and courageous women I have known. It has been three years since she lost her battle with cancer. Thanks to the BC Cancer Foundation, she was able to access treatments that extended her life so that she could make many more memories with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved living life, whether it was trips to California, gardening or having big dinners surrounded by her family. She brought us together and kept us together. I feel privileged to have known her love and be able to honor her in this way.
As we work towards a cure, cancer research and treatments can give our loved ones more time with us. The BC Cancer Foundation helped to give me and my family more time with my Grandma and for that I will be forever grateful.
I am asking for your support to help me honor my Grandma. Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
I will be riding with my friends and former colleagues on the Polygon Team and we look forward to supporting this worthy cause.
