In August of 2024, I will be embarking on this ride in memory of my late brother, John Tam. Growing up, John was a constant source of inspiration and encouragement - a true role model. He was one of the kindest, most generous, and fun-loving souls.

John was diagnosed with a rare type of brain cancer in 2016, while expecting his first son. He fought courageously and bounced back quickly, continuing with life until late 2019, when the cancer started to morph and grow aggressively. Again, John fought fearlessly, but sadly lost his battle to brain cancer on January 28th, 2021.

Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
