In April of this year I lost a great friend in Glen Dodd after he put up a courageous battle with Cancer. This year 100% of everything I do for this ride is in honour of Glen's memory. Once again in August of this year I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
It will not be a particularily hard ride for me and while it is a little longer it is through some beautiful country - hopefully the smoke holds back this year.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
