In 2022, I lost my beautiful mother to her valiant battle with cancer and since then, each and every day, I try to think of ways to honour her memory. This year, in her memory, I will be challenging myself to do the longest bike ride I have ever done.

On August 24 and 25, I will be participating in the Tour de Cure and I will be riding 200km (100km over 2 days) in order to raise money to help BC Cancer find new treatments. Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.

I'll be riding with a photo of mom to give me strength, I'll need all the help I can get! I know that she'll be watching and will be the wind at my back.
