Hi folks! 2024 is a milestone year for us. This coming August will be my 10 year cancer survivor anniversary! 10 years I did not think I'd get with my wife and children!! To survive GBM brain cancer is not an easy feat . A (likely but not tested) gene mutation might explain why I'm still here, but I know a big contributor was all the lifestyle changes we made, as a family, to live a healthier life overall. For that, I really have to thank my partner in life, Mirella! The 2024 ride will also be my 5th time riding in the Tour de Cure/Ride to Conquer Cancer with the Brainiacs!!

But, I don't ride for myself this year, I ride for my brother in law, Dan. Dan and I were both diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago but his fight has never relented. In December 2014, Dan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. He's faced every test, treatment and tear with a brave face, held up by his will to live so that he can share every moment possible with his wife Nadia and 4 children: Sevana, Saverio, Mateo, and Melena. Dan sadly passed away in Feb 2024.This ride is for him!!

Please support me in the Tour de Cure!

In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.

It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.

Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.

Please consider supporting me by making a gift today. Your donation will help me achieve my fundraising goal AND motivate me in this challenge!

Thank you so much for your support!
