Please support me in the Tour de Cure! This will be my 11th Ride.
So far, riding with Team Perimeter Drainage over the years, our groups of around 20 riders, a core group of 10-12 riders, along with others, have raised close to a million dollars! With COVID, our group has disbanded, and I continue along the road this year as a single. I am looking to join up with a few of my fellow riders to make the trip a more pleasant one.
This year I will be riding alongside the Brainiacs. Looking forward to your assistance and helping conquer cancer in our lifetime.
My last ride was during COVID, and everyone rode alone, with various routes around British Columbia, and I noticed a stark difference riding alone over 130 km per day, the road was a lot more quiet, there was no support, and no cheers to keep you going. It made me reflect, when we are alone, the journey is a lot more difficult, scattered thoughts, pushing to the finish line, a much different journey. It made me think of my friends, and others, who are battling Cancer. Battling it alone would be brutal. So many thoughts. The BC Cancer agency has helped those people, and they realize they are not alone. It's still a terrible journey, but made much easier, with your support. The BC Cancery agency needs donations. Please help!
If you would like to join my ride, I can assist with training. I train often in the mornings, or if you are a once a week person, Sunday Mornings are the ride days! We start with the shorter rides, and work up to longer rides as we are getting closer. Feel free to contact me!
