In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
I will be riding on team Josh in support of our good friend Lyndsay's brother Josh who has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma.
The money our team will raise is going directly to support a lab at UBC that is researching the immune response to cancer with the goal of developing immune-based strategies to prevent, detect and treat cancer. In collaboration with other groups, they are developing a clinical trials program to bring novel immunotherapies to patients.
