Hi!

Welcome to my Tour De Cure webpage. I am super excited to be part of the Brainiacs family of committed riders for this important and wonderful cause.

My Cancer Ride this year is dedicated to our loved ones who have been affected by this disease. We can all collectively come together to make a difference.

I have been watching my sons and friends participate in this challenging ride for many years. I have decided it's my turn to step up, join them, and be a rider in the 2024 Tour de Cure. For me this will be a big challenge - 200 km over 2 days! However, I will gladly take on this ride, considering the challenges patients with cancer go through every-single-day; with never a break.

Last year the weekend ride collectively raised a whopping $7.1 million dollars! That is an incredible amount of money that furthers the research and cancer care. Everyones generous donation for all participating riders is so very important.

Not a person is left untouched by Cancer, No one! My sons and myself know all too well. We experienced the disease and heart break of Cancer first-hand when my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in 2010 - we lost Jim on Dec 31, 2014 after an unbelievable couragous fight. This feels very right for me to participate this year in the Tour de Cure.

Together, we will beat Cancer. Life WITHOUT Cancer is the goal! Every donation is most appreciated and I am thankful for any support you can give me. All donations over $25 will receive a tax receipt.
