Please support me as I work to raise funds for BC Cancer & in the Tour de Cure!
A few months ago I decided to support one of my oldest childhood friends as he fights his battle with Cancer. Sascha and I met when we were 4 at Douglas Park Pre School. We went on to play soccer together with the Doughlas Park Spartans and were in the same school until grade 10 when I changed schools. We have remained close friends our whole lives and for the last few years he has been fighting hard to stay healthy.
This is not a fight he would be still in if it wsa not for the support of BC Cancer. He has gone through several rounds of Chemo and is now on immuno thearapy. He never complains and is fighting hard. In support of his fight I am riding the Tour de Cure on August 24 and 25 to help raise funds for cancer research.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
