Please support me in the Tour de Cure!
In August of 2024 I will be once again participating in the Tour de Cure (formerly the Ride to Conquer Cancer) in support of the BC Cancer Foundation.
I began this effort and joined this fundraiser many years ago (2009) in support of a good friend who was battling brain cancer and we rode together for a few years. Unfortunately Jay succumbed to his illness in 2012 and since then I have been committed to doing this ride and raising funds for as long as I can. Since that time many other friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances have been affected by cancer and each year I have more reasons to ride for this cause. I will spare you my long list of people that have been impacted by cancer as I'm sure cancer has affected us all in similar ways.
This year I will be joined on the ride by my wife Roxanne who has had her own battles with skin cancer and who has received excellent care. We hope that one day everyone's encounter with cancer can be a successful one.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
