This August I will participate in the Tour de Cure, biking 200 km from Coverdale to Hope to help the BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.

My family, as many families are, has been touched by cancer.Our family carries the gene for Lynch syndrome has meant that many of my family members have been affected. I hope that my contribution helps with treatment and eventually a cure.

Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients and making an impact around the world.

I'm riding with the Brainiacs team that was founded in 2009 by 4 Brain Cancer survivors. They continue to inspire me and our team today!

I hope there are fewer and fewer stories of loss and the struggle of treatment but until then Im proud to be a part of contributing to the research.

No amount is too small or too large, I'm so grateful for anything you are able to give.
