In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.

This year I ride in memory of my mom who lost her own courageous battle with cancer 20 years ago. Her cancer journey was very brief. She was diagnosed with an aggressive sarcoma and with limited treatment options available passed away less than 3 months later. Since then, the landscape of cancer treatments has changed dramatically thanks to incredible advances in research. Innovative options like immunotherapy and targeted therapies have turned some cancers into chronic conditions rather than life threatening illnesses. Research has fostered hope.

Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will continue to support life-saving research and enhancements to care, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
