I'm thrilled to be part of the upcoming Tour de Cure, a remarkable two-bike bike event that spans from Cloverdale to Hope (over 200km), all in support of the BC Cancer Foundation. Riding as co-captain of the PCL Pedallers, I'm cycling to raise funds to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Cancer is a disease that touches each and every one of us. It doesn't discriminate by age, gender, or background. We've all been affected, either directly or indirectly, by the impact of this horrible disease. It's a stark reminder that cancer's reach is vast, yet so is our determination to conquer it.

This will mark my sixth time participating in this incredible event. Each year, the Tour de Cure takes on new meaning for me. In past years, I rode in dedication of close family members challenges fighting cancern and the amazing care and treatment they have received from the BC Cancer Agency. Now as a recent new parent, my motivation and drive to find a cure has evolved. Listening to the heartbreaking stories from other parents about their experiences with their children courageously battling cancer I am reminded how indescriminate this disease is. I can't even begin to fathom the pain of experiencing a child fighting this disease, so I ride in the hopes that we can find a cure to avoid any other parent feeling this pain. I ride so that we can find a cure and have the next generation not have to experience cancer.

Your support, whether through donations or simply sharing in this journey, is invaluable in our fight to fund critical research, support patients, and ultimately, find a cure. Join me as we pedal for progress and push towards a world without cancer. Your involvement, however big or small, makes a significant impact on this collective effort.

Thank you for being a part of this meaningful cause.
