Pictured above is my daughter Hailey from May 2019 when we had some photos taken for a Mother's day gift. She was 11 months into her chemo treatments and was still able to pull off an ear to ear smile!
Hailey is the reason that I ride each year and the reason that I will continue riding and supporting the fundraising effort for the BC Cancer Foundation.
After a long and tough journey from diagnosis of Leukemia(ALL-T-Cell) in June 2018 at age 4 to completing her last chemo treatment in October 2020, thankfully Hailey is now a very healthy 10 year old that is thriving in Grade 4 and loving her time playing ice hockey and baseball.
I ride because I want to help fund further research which will minimize and hopefully eventually eliminate the instances of varying forms of childhood cancer.
If you help me reach my goal of $20,000, I will ask Hailey and Harper to once again set up the lemonade stand with proceeds going to BC Cancer Foundation and I will then match their dollars raised from their weekend of selling lemonade!
Last year for their 2023 fundraising as I hit my fundraising target, they raised $391 on Day 1 of selling and $380 on Day 2 of selling their lemonade. Both amounts were matched and added into my brother's fundraising effort for last years ride.

Please support me in the Tour de Cure!
In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
Please consider supporting me by making a gift today. Your donation will help me achieve my fundraising goal AND motivate me in this challenge!
Thank you so much for your support!
