In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.

Help needed.....
Fawn and I have been focused on getting ready for this year's RIDE FOR THE CURE. Tough year last year but we are eagerly looking forward to next weekend - however, we are both @ $1500 in donations and we can't ride without amassing $2500 each. Ugh..... the fine print....
I have been in 3 RIDES; 2 as a rider and one as a volunteer. Last year I suffered a cycling accident and fractured my pelvis. My rehab allowed me to cheer on fellow riders as a volunteer at the mid-point watering stations (Aug 2023).
Fawn has been a part of the RIDE (rider) for 2 years. On the EBH jerseys her mother and brother's names are stenciled into the design.
We ride for them, all those that have been touched by Cancer, those that have been helped by fund-raising research and to hear others' stories.
We are asking, if you are able, to please donate to our ride profiles.
