When Laurie Elizabeth Bridge lost her fight with Colorectal Cancer on July 15, 2023, at the age of 27, the world lost an incredibly brave soul who advocated for fairness and equality for all beings.

There are many challenges we encounter along the road of life, but there are few that compare to watching your daughter die of this damning disease. Laurie fought bravely and tirelessly until the day she passed away, and there isnt a day that goes by that we dont miss her - our lives are forever changed.

The fight against cancer continues for so many of our loved ones, and in Lauries name I am riding in the Tour de Cure again this year to raise awareness and funds to support the research at BC Cancer. No one should have to suffer like Laurie did. As a parent it is fundamentally wrong to have to watch your child die. It is like your worst nightmare made real.

Please help me and the BC Cancer Foundation by donating to this incredible cause. Every penny helps and if we can save one more life and prevent one more parent from experiencing what I have, then progress will have been made.

Thank you so much for your support and consideration.
