In August of 2024 I will be embarking on a cycling challenge..... Again.
For me, it will be my 15th year and thousands of clocked kilometers while raising thousands of dollars for cancer research.
I am alive today because of these research dollars. Taking a daily chemotherapy that keeps cancer cells from turning into life threatening cancer has made all the difference for me and for my family - it's what keeps me focussed on the road, it's what gets me on the bike, it's what gets me up those hills and it's why I am asking you for your help.
It will be hard (as it always is) and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
