Kwantlen Polytechnic University is a venerable post-secondary Institution that has a proud tradition of service to students both at home in Canada and abroad. Not only does KPU deliver courses in over 100 subject areas and disciplines to thousands of students but it also has a tradition of supporting non-profit organizations and causes. This is the 6th year the KPU Eagles have taken up the challenge to do the Tour De Cure and we would love to have YOU on our team. At the moment it is small team - a trickle but with your support it can and will become a torrent.

To date the Eagles have raised over $70,000. Including this year's goals WE WILL go over $100,000.00 this year! Each person on our team has a unique reason why they signed up for this ride and it is this reason which propels them to train, fundraise and grow our team and we want you to join us!

The ride has returned to the two day format (although an epic one day event is also available). It will start in Surrey at Cloverdale Fairgrounds, overnight at the Chilliwack Heritage Park, concluding in downtown Hope. Here are some of the highlights:

  1. Date: Saturday August 24-Sunday August 25th - 8 am start time
  2. Fund raising minimum - $2500
  3. Fully supported - pit stops; bike mechanics; food and beverages
  4. Routes - Day 1: 100km or 160 km, Day 2: 100km
  5. Teams may choose to start together and finish together to be discussed on the date or just prior.
  6. Free Jersey
  7. Post Ride Shindig - it is in the planning with food & beverages & possible live music and dance

We will make sure that you are ready to take on this cycling challenge and achieve or even exceed your personal fundraising goal. Most importantly, we will do it together in mind, heart and spirit!
