Please support me in the Tour de Cure!
My father died of lymphoma in 2012. An avid cyclist and athlete himself, he taught me to love cycling and to push my limits in all endurance sports, and so it is fitting that this ride falls exactly on the 11th anniversary of his passing. Cycling is something that myself, my mom, and my brothers all participate in to feel connected to him. This year my Toronto neighbour of 26 years, Garry, is fighting the same agressive cancer. He is also a cyclist, and served as the de facto bike mechanic for all the kids on Indian Road. I ride for him as well.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
