On August 26-27, I will be taking part in the 2023 Tour de Cure: A 200 km cycling event from Surrey to Hope, British Columbia to help support ongoing cancer research and innovation of care at the BC Cancer Foundation.

This year I am riding in honour of my late father-in-law, Stew McWade, who recetly passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer. His steadfast support, humor and loving presence in our lives is greatly missed. I will be thinking about Stew and my family as I embark on this two day event.

To support the vital work being done to advance cancer diagnostics and therapeutics at the BC Cancer foundation, I am personally committed to raising more than $2500 and will be accepting contributions leading up to the event.
