Im riding again this year in the Tour De Cure in effort to raise money for research to rid the world of Cancer.
As you may know, I lost my father early, 9 years ago, to Esophageal Cancer. He was an amazing person that would have made the world a better place had he lived to full life-expectancy. A good summary of his life is at this link:
Accountant, volunteer, hockey player mourned - Prince George Citizen
He isnt alone. Im also riding this year for friend of mine and colleague, Jonathan Boyce, who lost his mother in 2023, early, to pancreatic cancer. More importantly, there are younger folks still tragically dying from Cancer, despite living otherwise healthy lives. Im riding this year for those people. Im also riding for another friend and colleague whose son, Jake, kicked cancers ass this year with a little help from some the latest medicine and Im confident now that hell live a lot longer than me!
Any support you can provide would be appreciated!
