I'm taking on the Tour de Cure

So, I am back again to ride with the Wheelin' Warriors of the North. The reason for my return is that cancer decided to pick a fight with a very close friend of mine. Erin is a true warrior and is kicking the shit out of cancer for a second time in her life. Erin has been a huge part of my life over the last 7 years. She pushes me out of my comfort zone, motivates me to achieve my dreams and become the best version of myself every day. As Erin takes on cancer for a second time, I want to do something to honour her battle and support her in any way I can. So taking up the challenge to ride in the Tour de Cure is the best way to show my support and honour her battle.

Cancer will most definitely pick a fight with a friend or family member of yours one day. Cancer has picked battles with my family and friends at times as well; some of those battles have been won, and some of those battles have been lost. I am riding again with Wheelin' Warriors of the North so that the friends & family members that lost their battles are remembered and the members of my friends & family that are battling or will most likely battle with cancer will have a better chance at winning their battles. This ride is not for everyone, so if you can not ride but still want to help make a difference in the fight to conquer cancer, then now is your opportunity.

If there is a cure to be found or a treatment to help others with their battles, then I ride for them as well. Please contribute to this powerful movement with a donation.
