Hello friends and family! We are spinning our wheels this August to raise money for cancer research and care with BC Cancer's Tour de Cure.
As most of you know, Lee was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 40 and pancreatic cancer at age 45. Lee turned 50 this year and the life-saving treatments she received at BC Cancer would not have been possible without the generous support of donors to BC Cancer.
However, this was a difficult year for many friends in our community. Despite incredible advances and breakthroughs in research and care, cancer still takes incredible people away from us too soon. We will be thinking about our friend Clay Yandle, Lee's friend & colleauge Lorenzo Iameo, and a very special young woman, Eva Forde, as we ride this year.
The money we raise for the BC Cancer Foundation will support leading clinicians, scientists, and researchers whose search for new discoveries and improved patient outcomes will have a real impact in our communities throughout the province, across Canada, and around the world.
Thank you for your love and support.
The BC Cancer Foundation is the largest charitable funder of cancer research in the province, supporting leading-edge cancer research at BC Cancer whose mission is to:
