Previously, I worked for BC Cancer in the capacity of a nurse practitioner. I learned how committed BC Cancer was to treating those whose lives have been touched by cancer. This year I lost a sister to cancer. It was devastating and totally out of the blue. The research and development of new treatments needs to be ongoing.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
