The ride may have taken on a new name, but the purpose behind it is still the same.
Since we last rode in person in 2019, our 130 person team has lost 3 of our own members to this devastating disease. I know what Caroline, Maureen and Chris would give to be out riding their bikes right now. That thought alongside thinking about all those who have been taken too soon, is the reason I ride tomorrow and will continue to ride for years to come.
Emma. Jordan. Ryder. Oma. Opa. Bailey.
So tomorrow as we set out, I anticipate some achy muscles and tired legs, but it will be nothing that a couple Tylenol couldn't fix, and I know my struggle will pale in comparison to what those will cancer have gone through.
With that said, it would mean a lot to me if you would consider making a donation to my personal page I can assure you, your donation WILL make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
