Again we ride
We ride becasue we can, because we care and becasue it makes a difference.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
I ride to help raise these funds and to actively support my friends and family who have been impacted by cancer.
This year I'm riding for:
My friend Adam who lost his 5 year old daughter Emma 3 years ago to a brain tumor. I am riding for my dad who has had a brush with prostate cancer. I am riding for my friend Mark and his daughter Maddie whose wife continues her battle with ovarian cancer as we speak. I am riding for my uncle Tom whose battle is ongoing. I am riding for our friend Ashley, who we lost to brain cancer. I am riding for multiple acquaintances and friends of friends who are winning and losing their battles right now.
I am riding 120km this year because it is something I can do to help.
I would be honoured to have your support.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Aaron
