This August I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
In 2018, I signed up for the Ride to Conquer Cancer in honour of my Mom who fought and defeated cancer. This year, I am riding in honour and support of my hero, my inspiration, my big brother Ritchie who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer back in April.
My brother is a healthy 43 year old who takes care of himself by eating healthy and is physically active. No one would have ever thought that he would be diagnosed with this disease. Cancer has no age limit and no boundaries and I know too many people affected by it.
Riding 100km on August 28th is going to be a challenge, however it is nothing compared to what cancer patients go through on a daily basis. I dedicate my ride to my big brother and all my friends and family who have been affected by this terrible disease.
Please consider supporting me by making a gift today. Your donation will help me achieve my fundraising goal AND motivate me in this challenge! Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
Let's wage hope and conquer cancer together!
Thank you so much for your support!
