Please support me and BC Cancer Foundation in the Tour de Cure!

This August I will be riding in the Tour de Cure to help BC Cancer Foundation continue to fund life-saving cancer research and enhancements to care, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.

This will be year 12 riding for Selina and I, and year 11 as Team Way Hey Hey! With hope and growing optimism that it is making a difference in cancer outcomes. Outcomes like Selina's, whose diagnosis 15 years ago was terrifying. She was treated through surgery and then with an experimental targeted chemotherapy that she continued to take each morning until this year. Continuing to live was considered a long shot 15 years ago. Coming off of daily chemotherapy this year was also experimental - something that was not even considered an option when this journey began. That outcome was changed by research. The kind of research funded by the Tour de Cure. The kind of research that means Selina is still riding, still kicking butt and continuing to work on behalf of all British Columbians - with no signs of active Cancer and weaning off of what has been a life-saving treatment.

Not all outcomes are as positive as our experience. Which is why we continue to ride and continue to support BC Cancer Foundation.

Please consider supporting BC Cancer Foundation with a donation to Team Way Hey Hey!

Thank you so much for your support now in the Tour de Cure, and in past Rides to Conquer Cancer. It is making a difference.
