Team Way Hey Hey! will be riding in the Tour de Cure, presented by Wheaton Metals to help the BC Cancer Foundation fund life-saving research in the hunt for better outcomes! More Ordinary Days!
The 2021 Tour takes place August 28th and each of us has committed to conquer 50 km, 100km or 160 km, and to raise funds for BC Cancer Foundation.
Team Way Hey Hey! has been riding in support of BC Cancer Foundation for the past 11 years, raising almost $700k,collectively cycling over 28,000 km DURING the ride events and over 350,000 km in training rides. That's kicking cancer both through funding research and through enhanced fitness and activity within the team!
Each of our riders has a story and reason for riding. We ride for those we have lost, those with a current diagnosis, those who have overcome a diagnosis (NED is a popular dance partner!) and those who have yet to be diagnosed. It touches all of us.
Cancer doesn't stop, neither will we. When you see us riding with our red helmet plumes... just holler Way Hey Hey! We'll answer!Riding for an Ordinary Day.
