Please support me in the Tour de Cure!
This August I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help the BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
I am no stranger to the toll that cancer can take on ourselves, our families, and our communities.
Cancer has affected me and my family deeply and personally. When I was 18 my mother died of breast cancer. I am a prostate cancer survivor. My wife is a Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer survivor.
My middle daughter, Laurie, is still battling stage 4 colorectal cancer at age 27. She is a fighter and an optimist but she is running out of options. The cancer has mutated and chemotherapy is no longer effective. We need help. Optimism doesnt cure cancer. Research and the incredible scientists at BC Cancer do. They need your support!!
Every penny makes a difference. Please help in any way you can.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
Please consider supporting me by making a gift today. If we can help just ONE person who is going through what my daughter is enduring on a daily basis then it will be worth it.
Thank you so much for your support!
