As we emerge from the pandemic I am really impressed with how our team has kept impacting the prevention, diagnsosi, mangagment and survirorship of ovarian cancer. We have recruited a leading clinical trialist from the UK to build out our capacity to impact outcomes through the development and testing of novel treatments and our team depth and impact have both massively increased through strategic recruitment and the building of the gynecologic cancer initiative.
We are all motivated to use research to decrease death and suffering from these cancers by 50% but we need your help
This August I will be embarking on a cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure presented by Wheaton Precious Metals to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
It will be hard and it will be long, but it does not compare to the challenge of facing cancer.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
