I'm taking on the Tour de Cure

Please support me in the Tour de Cure!
I grew up from a very young age hearing the word "cancer" all around me. At 12 years old, losing my dad to brain cancer, I had no idea what that meant. I just knew he somehow got sick and a couple months later he was gone. 22 years since then and I still don't understand it any more than I did. I've now lost the most important people in my life from this disease. I've seen both my parents battle this, I've watched my friends and their families fight this and I feel hopeless, wishing there was something I can do to help.
Now I'm not a doctor or a scientist. I can't come up with a cure. But I can ride a bike. And if riding my bike will help find a cure for cancer, well that's what I'm going to do. I'm doing this in honour of the ones we've lost, I'm doing this for my parents Frank and Giulia.
This August I will be embarking on a 2 day cycling challenge. I have committed to participate in the Tour de Cure to help BC Cancer Foundation break down cancer.
Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
Please consider supporting me by making a donation today. Your donation will help me achieve my fundraising goal and motivate me in this challenge!
Thank you so much for your support!
